Client: Coca Cola PowerADE Division
Challenge: Increase market share
Strategy: With Gatorade cornering the professional sports marketing channels, PowerADE turned their attention to the Education Channel. Incentive Marketing Group was asked to source products that would be useful to high school and college athletic teams. For three seasons, we provided kits with assorted PowerADE logo'd items including beverage coolers, caps, towels and clipboards. All merchandise was assembled at our warehouse and then shipped either to the bottlers or directly to the schools as indicated.
Benefits: Coca Cola bottlers were able to offer schools valuable incentives for signing on as PowerADE schools. Schools were provided useful items they otherwise may not have had the budget to purchase.
